Guitar Lessons in Middlesex County, MA

Gordon is a Berklee College of Music graduate who’s been teaching guitar for almost 30 years in a range of different positions and institutions. During that time he has been a part of the Chicago and Boston music scenes, performing and recording with many different artists and bands.

He offers lessons from his studio as well as online, serving most of Middlesex County, MA. His teaching philosophy follows helping students follow their musical interests and balances learning core musical fundamentals with achieving overall creative goals. He emphasizes the use of music technology within teaching and customizes lessons to include the use of many different digital resources.

He is the author of the “From the Ground Up” guitar method. A lesson plan highlighting the use of parallel harmony to explain both theory and instrument.
